BAY CITY, Mich. — The U.S. Coast Guard says it rescued two men whose snowmobiles crashed through the ice about a mile from shore on Saginaw Bay near Bay City.
The Coast Guard says in a statement that other members of the men's party called Bay County's 911 center from the scene Saturday night. The statement says an air boat from the Coast Guard's Essexville station arrived about 9:45 p.m.
